Tsunami

Last few days have been pretty rough… confusing, bizarre… I don’t know… Why does it happen that sometimes when you say something casually it is taken as something totally different than what you intended and you get a reaction which you never expect… And mind you! These are not some random people you casually know, these are people who you think know you and you think would understand where you’re coming from… All in all, you’re left shocked asking yourself if something THIS small can really be a reason enough to lead to the results which it lead to and why some consideration can’t be given to all the good old times.

Then you get a “message” that everyone wants things to work and while you’re thinking how to approach the matter you get another “message” totally different from the previous one and you’re left more confused…

Well… there’s something that I believe in i.e. when everything is going wrong then it doesn’t mean our time is wrong but it means that the one above is trying to tell us that we’re wrong somewhere… I guess I need to take some time out from everything and focus on where I’m going wrong and work on it… Before I go, I’d like to apologize for anything I did which hurt anyone in anyway, only I know that I didn’t mean to…

And for myself, I need the tsunami to go and wait for the time when I’m in a position to see everything clearly… I guess its time to move on...

Adeem Hashmi describes my situation very nicely by saying:

“Pathar hai tere haath mai ya koi phool hai
Jub tu kabool hai tera sub kuch kabool hai

Phir tu ne de dia hai naya fasla mujhe
Sir per abhi to pichli musafat ki dhool hai

Tu dil pe bojh le ke mulakat ko na aa
Is jurm se to teri judai kabool hai

Tu yaar hai to itni kari guftugu na ker
Tera asool hai to mera bhi asool hai

Lafzoon ki abroo ko gunwaoo na yun “adeem”
Jo manta nahi usey kehna fazool hai”

There are not many good things about Tsunamis or for that matter any other catastrophes but they do go away and while some destruction would have been done and the repercussions continue... eventually the sky clears up for a new morning and a new beginning...

there is always a light after the night...and thats why every next day is looking forward to...
